OPEN HAND NEW GIG! Open Hand will return to the live curcuit this december to aupport Fu Manchu! Theres an awesome new site design been made by another Open Hand fan Id love to use, but there is also a favoured idea of stopping the site and making the forum the main site. This also comes with the news that Open hands august tour has been cancelled, apparently due to Van problems. It has to be the most unique thing Open Hand have done to date, to put it simply, an amazing song. ================================================= FORUM AND MORE TOUR....28th May 06 Firstly, yet another date added to the tour, this time in London! Unfortunatly, not the UK London....the Canadian london...check it out on the gigs page. Also, I made a few changes to the forum...you now need to login or signup before entering. Also, I made a mess of the censored words on it...for example, I decided to change a few petty words...eg "ass"...to "Monkey"...therefore making the word "Bassist" "Bmonkeyist"...which is rediculous. But other than that, the fact that its taken me so long to update shows how much has been happening lately...well, lots could be ahppening behind the scenes, but unfortunatly still no news on any new album, tours, or anything....Ill let you all know though!! ================================================= UPDATE - 29th March 2006 I havent been able to get on to update in a few days, because of a problem with my host...as in it disapeared! but its cool now...Open Hand, however, have been confirmed for Spring Fest 2006 in LA. I dont know any other bands playing, so anyone with any info post it on the messageboard or email me! ================================================= NEWS - 26th March 2006 Just some news....The Trustkill store currently has Open Hand "you and me" T-shirts in stock, and, if you look here , youll see that it is Trustkill's 4th top selling item in the webstore! On sale for just $10 too....they also have the "car crash" design tee back in stock too, for the same price.... In other unrelated news, I just discovered OpenHand.tk is listed on Google , and I didnt pay them to or whatever...so thats pretty neat! for me, anyway..... ================================================= KNITTING FACOTRY SHOW - 14th march. 2006 Just found out the full bill for Open Hands show @ the Knitting Factory in Hollywood, on may 11th. it is - BoySetsFire, Open Hand, Versus The Mirror, The Fully Down. To those of you who are in Hollywood - I am jealous. ================================================ NEW DATE AND SONGS.... -12th March. 2006 Open Hand will be playing the Knitting Room in Hollywood on the 11th of May, with Boysetsfire! Tickets are $10 and its in the main room. Also, the band have added Crooked Crown and Her Song to their MySpace , which are both also available for download! The show has been added to the gigs page. In other news, sorry this news took me so long to add! Ive been way too busy for my own good lately...Im also about to start work on the new website, which I should be getting a good new domian for...I think theres only so fr a .tk can go, and the opening page is really annoying me! I dated it 7th jan, but only because it had just gone past midnight here. So by the shows that i said on that post where tomorrow, i meant the 7th, not the 8th. I just didnt realise it was on that day...and OH's show on the 6th had still to be played anyway! what with time difference...I wont be on the site during the week this week cos of "unforseen circumstances". Its really started going, which rules...and because of this,I now start dating updates! also, If your in California and not at tonights show at The Derby, then get to the shows either tomorrow in Chain Reaction in Anaheim, or on the 11th at the Trobadour in Hollywood. If you buy tickets before, they will cost you $10, or $12 on the door. Both shows are with Bullets & Octane. The Switchups, Red Gun Radar, The Outline and The Knives will also make appearances on their respective nights.
